Bump Up The Style
Between my ever-changing/growing pregnancy bod, the punishing Dallas heat, and pandemic life, my motivation to get put-together on a daily basis has been lacking. I had to have an intervention with myself a few weeks back to snap out of my funk. It was time to put the sweatpants aside and reclaim my style identity to boost my confidence!
My key to maternity style is simple: keep the outfit basic and flattering and let the accessories do the talking. I tend to stick to a versatile one-piece outfit, like a dress or a jumpsuit, in a solid color or a print that is on-trend such a tie-dye or floral, like this adorable Derek Hart maxi. At this point in my pregnancy, I prefer a bodycon style to show off the belly. Then, I accessorize according to my mood or the occasion for which I am dressing. I can easily take a look from day-to-night just by switching up the add-ons.
I definitely want to keep my spending down for this temporary wardrobe, but that doesn’t mean I should have to compromise my fashion integrity! Walmart Fashion has a wonderful selection of maternity clothes, including some super comfy and stylish dresses for very affordable prices like the two I am wearing here. I chose the white one because I love how I can dress it from the beach to brunch and the tie-dye one as a fun way to embrace this major trend in an elevated way!
The Walmart Fashion selection of accessories is fantastic for summer—especially the wide array of sun hats and the adorable statement handbags to store our masks and sanitizer! I adore Walmart Fashion’s collaborations with Eliza May Rose by Hat Attack and Scoop, some of which I am wearing here—cutest accessories! Check out Walmart Fashion for your maternity needs and beyond! Here are two fun looks for an easy, but fashionable day around town with links to shop it all!
