Excessories Review: ENK Accessorie Circuit
I spent 3 amazing days on an accessories safari at ENK Accessorie Circuit. I think the only kind of safari I'm into is an accessories safari. Accessorie Circuit is a tradeshow where buyers from stores come to buy accessories from hundreds of extremely talented designers to fill their stores for the upcoming seasons. It's also an amazing place to discover new brands and see what's to come from brands we already know and love. I spent a lot of time exploring and talking to designers, buyers, editors, and fellow bloggers about up-and-coming trends we are loving. Here are some of my favorite excessive trends for spring/summer:
Tribal Jewelry:
It's no secret that I love bold, colorful jewelry, so I am SO looking forward to spring/summer's tribal trends! From airy, printed maxi to crocheted bikini, tribal jewels will complete so many of your warm-weather looks!

Oversized Cobalt Handbags:
It seems cobalt is going to be a major player this spring/summer. Everywhere I looked at ENK Circuit I saw blue. I started to feel like Picasso, only happy, and not a genius artist. New Yorkers are always toting around a TON of stuff because we don't have cars and we're out and about all day, so your handbag kind of becomes your car...your vehicle for storing everything from a laptop to a water bottle to an extra set of make up. I believe that each season, every gal should have her trademark handbag and summer is the season of cobalt. I'm particularly loving what Fabiola Pedrazzni has to offer...beautiful leathers, rich colors, and extremely spacious compartments.
Vintage-Inspired Belts:
I am a huge sucker for vintage-inspired belts with ornate buckles that act as jewelry for your waist (think Judith Leiber circa 1980). So naturally, I was thrilled to discover Raina Belts at ENK Circuit because they fit this exact description. I picture a red leather belt with a gold fox buckle cinching a black cashmere cardigan...I picture an embossed tan leather with a turquoise and gold buckle belting a flowing printed kaftan, completing a boho-glam moment... The Coolest Headphones EVER:
Who doesn't take their music-listening seriously? From travel to treadmill, headphones are a huge part of my life and I'm sick of wearing plain old iPod buds in my ears! It's time to step it up and excessorize our music. Frends headphones was arguably one of the busiest booths at ENK Circuit. Passersby couldn't help but stop and take a listen, and once they saw just how COOL they looked as they listened, they were sold! Afterall, who wouldn't love to be THAT girl in the Givenchy Bambi dress with Chanel Boy bag and the FRENDS headphones?! You can buy your own pair of Frends at Nordstrom.
