Bold As Love
My latest fashion motto is WWJD (Wearing What Jimi Did ). I've been channeling music legend, Mr. Hendrix, on the regular when I get dressed. To make his iconic look more modern and wearable, I've replaced his head scarf with a Panama hat, and decided to forgo the colorful embroidered shearling jacket and replace it with a colorful, embroidered clutch.
Additionally, I need to take this moment to thank the fashion gods for the return of the bellbottom. Flared pants add inches to the leg and at 5'2", I'll take every little bit I can get. I can hide a 6-inch platform under there and suddenly I'm eye level with my husband! Sneaky, sneaky... Flares will be here for a while, so blow the dust off that pair from 2001. I can't wait to invest in a pair of belled overalls!
